mid century glass vase
Inspired by the famous Arthur Percy Hand Blown Vase circa 1950's style.
"This listing is for a vintage Arthur Percy delicate hand blown vase. Designed in 1952. It measures 49 cm tall by 15 cm wide at the widest point, and has a concave base. Percy's design was actually made by a few major Scandinavian glass houses. Originally designed for Gullaskruf, it was produced by Aseda, Lindshammar and Elme. We are not entirely sure which house this piece is from, as this particular colour way is hard to find.
This form was selected for the Corning Glass Museum Special Exhibition of 1959. It is documented in Scandinavian Glass Fire and Sea by Leslie Pina and Lorenzo Vigier. This vase was made at the Aseda, Sweden glass works and still retains its original label as shown in the pictures."
